Bitchin' Entertainment Artists News: Tin Roof - Generator Jon Prophet - A New Religion Introducing Gentry Morris - The Bare Bones and Bad Ideas EP When you've gone to great expense and selected the best producer and studio for your recording project why sell yourself short on your CD packaging? Check out our friends at GCID, short for G. Carr Illustration & Design. This is a graphic design team based in Denver, Colorado but work with recording Artists nationwide. They're most known for their unique cd packaging - they don't do jewel cases unless begged, pleaded with and heavily bribed. Their work has won numerous design awards. Although a little off center, just ahead of the curve & tons of fun at a party. Visit their Myspace and ask for Heather. Podcasts This months podcast focus is on the Soupy Gato Show. Daniel's been doing a great job of playing the Bitchin' artists. He's always looking for new mp3's to play and since he doesn't download from myspace or other sites he's reliant on artists sending them to him. Email Your Mp3's to Daniel at:Daniel Harris Website: Soupy Gato Concerts News Bitchin' Entertainment booked the legendary Vinx for the Jam for Cure leukemia benefit on August 26 at the Suwanee Amphitheater. What a complete joy watching this man perform. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure and the experience of Vinx, he is a charismatic performer whose only instrument, besides his incredible voice, is a drum. Living in Georgia, he is well-known throughout the southeast as a solo artist and as the former percussionist/background vocalist for Sting. I'd like to thank Vinx and his southeast booking agent John Laird for helping us out in a pinch. Now Taking Dates for the Bad Boys of Southern Rock Tour Featuring these Legendary Southern Rockers: Classic Southern Rockers Molly Hatchet Blackfoot Ghost Riders The Georgia Satellites The Atlanta Rhythm Section The Marshall Tucker Band Foghat Pat Travers and Bad Company former lead singer, Brian Howe! If you happen to get into a discussion with Daniel about the music biz, expect to be thrown a curveball because I can guarantee you won't be ready for his understanding of it. I took an interest in Daniel when he was about 16. I've watched him grow and develop into an expressive and proficient musician. He has surprised even me in what I call his "jazz experimental" phase but if you ask him about his talents he'll tell you he's just a guitar player, a very misleading self-observation. Daniel is seeking career opportunities and is very interested in finding musicians to form a performance and songwriting team. He is also available for studio work.
