Sky - Pet of the Week
Sky's story:
On Thanksgiving 2003, my sisters friend brought this
box over to the house. I didn't think much of it until
my sister yelled about a puppy. So I ran to her, my
last dog had been hit by a car and the one before that
had been stolen, so I was hesitant at first. Then I
opened the box and saw a little black puppy with blue
eyes staring up at me. I fell in love instantly! I
scooped her up and petted her softly. My sisters
friend told me she found her under her trailer all
alone. She asked around and no one claimed her, she
was abandoned! I shed a tear and walked up the stairs
to my mom. She told me not to get attached, but I
already was. My dad got some of Precious(our
Chihuahua) food and mashed it up. We fed her through a
spoon! Well my mom saw my dad and my attachment to
her. So my parents talked and decided I could keep
her! I looked her in the eyes and said her name
would be Willow "Sky" Egan. Since then we have gotten
her fixed and all her shots. She is living a very
happy life and I have never seen a sky look as
beautiful as mine.
