 Return of the Prince
by: Glenn Nippert
May 10, 2004

Have you ever found some forgotten money in a pair of jeans or got a phone call from a friend you haven't heard from in awhile? That's the feeling you get listening to the finest Prince album in at least 9 years. Whether you are a hardcore Prince fan or just a casual "Purple Rain/Greatest Hits" kind of fan, there is something here for everyone.

Some highlights include "Cinnamon Girl", "Dear Mr. Man" "Life o'the Party" and the title song. The album is eclectic and funky and as always, Prince has a great band and plays every last note as if he really means it.

Let all of todays American Idols and lipsynching Ken and Barbies take note - this is how it's done. His debut album "For You" came out 26 years ago. How many of todays artists do you think will be around in 26 years, let alone next year? Prince's career has had it's share of highs and lows, but I'm just glad he is still around and still making great music.
