Artist: Mike Stephens
CD Name: Highway 101
Artist Site: Mike Stephens

Sit around the campfire
the flames are burning gold,
the warmth rests upon your face,
your back turned against the cold.
Road-weary man with his guitar
And a story to be told.

His voice is like an old cowboy
Life's troubles echo deep
the smooth timbre of his words
could lull you into sleep
But listen to his story
Songs created from life
He's a vagabond traveler
Tales of sadness, desire, strife.

This is Mike Stephens
the album: "Highway 101".
Not country-western
Not rock and roll
Just an addicting voice
that will touch your soul.

Other musicians sometimes add
their beauty to the fold
But I prefer Mike alone
with his stories from the road.

Artist:Marcus Miller
CD Name: Higher Ground
Artist Site: Marcus MIller

Soul with spunk; jazz with funk. The beat will get you moving and your mind will start grooving. Don't listen to Marcus Miller! FEEL him! Experience this disc, as it will intoxicate you.

When I first slipped Higher Ground into my disc player, I was in no way prepared for the way Marcus' bass playing would fill the room. I felt as though the beat of my heart changed to sync with his fingers and I was swept away.

Joined by friends in an album the likes I have never before heard, Marcus Miller's bass is a voice all by itself, speaking a language you will never forget.

Artist: NEKKED
CD Name: A Barrier of Skin
Artist Site: Nekked

Mixing pleasure, pain and a little parody, Nekked presents an awesome CD with Barrier Of Skin. The vocals are sweet and breathy, harmonizing perfectly in a George Michael-esque way. Each song a story in itself, "A Boy Can Dream" is a beautiful song of hope; "SOS" words of unrequited love. "Feeling No Pain" uses a catchy pop beat to mask the true of pain of drowning one's sorrows in alcohol.

Switching gears, Nekked bares their satirical backside with "How Come You Don't Love Me", the perfect song for every frat-boy (or porn?) movie. Definitely my favorite of the album, the one I keep singing out loud.

A Barrier Of Skin switches gears often but is always on track; a rainbow of emotions and colors. Check it out, these boys have got it going on.
